These Fresh Fruit Wands are another recipe adapted from our very favorite food creator, Weelicious. We favorite Catherine McCord’s recipes for the healthy aspect, the difficulty level low enough for the kids to help, and the yumminess the whole family enjoys. She makes food fun a family event!hbgjhb

I sliced the fruit and cut up as needed. The cantaloupe became flowers and the pineapple stars. I attempted to ball the watermelon, but it was a lost cause. It just wouldn’t ball, so I simply cut up into rectangle shapes.

The second best part of this recipe is the assembly. I layered as you see pictured, but the kids designed their own (If you are worried about pointed ends, they can be cut off). This recipe could be used not only as a recipe for a party, but an activity. A “Create Your Own Fruit Wand” set up would be a huge hit!
My little fruit monster could not keep her hands out as I took pictures 🙂
The most fun about making these wands- eating them! We’ve made these Fresh Fruit Wands many times and absolutely love them!
