The timeless classic of The Wizard Of Oz is being brought to life on stage by The Children’s Theatre Of Cincinnati February 11-19 (see show times below). I love the costume work in all of the TCTC’s plays and am sure this play will really showcase that talent. Which character is your favorite? Dorothy? The Tin Man? The Lion? The Scarecrow? The Wizard? With LOCAL 12’s hilarious Bob Herzog as the Wizard, I’m guessing I’ll walk away as him as my favorite.
The Wizard Of Oz: A cyclone transports Dorothy and her dog, Toto, from Kansas to the technicolor Munchkin Land. Unfortunately, they land right on top of the Wicked Witch of the East — not a good thing! As Dorothy and Toto head down the Yellow Brick Road to find the Wizard and their way back home to Kansas, they meet new friends, each with a wish that they hope The Great Oz can grant for them. A scrawny Scarecrow needs a brain, a rusty Tin Man needs a heart, and a Cowardly Lion needs courage.
All Mainstage shows are performed at the Taft Theatre, 5th and Sycamore Streets in Downtown Cincinnati. Tickets $10-$30. 1-800-745-3000 and www.ticketmaster.com. Tickets always sell fast!

Go Over The Rainbow With The Children’s Theatre Of Cincinnati In The Wizard of Oz
Vanessa did a wonderful job with my son s first haircut. She was patient and loving with him. Everyone there was really nice. They had lots of toys for him to play with and refreshments for the adults and kids. They gave us some locks of his hair in a little Baggie, a pic of him when he was finished, and a certificate for his first haircut. We will definitely be back!
