Personalized Mickey Mouse Tumbler Cup #DisneySide
In searching for ideas to help the kids at our #DisneySide @Home Celebration channel their #DisneySides, I came across this super cute idea from Mouse Ideas. It was great inspiration for the Personalized Mickey Mouse Tumblers we created!
I purchased the vinyl at Hobby Lobby with the weekly 40% off coupon, and picked up the tumblers at the $1 store. Anything with a smooth surface will work. I already had the Cricut machine and supplies. If you don’t have access to a Cricut machine, craft punches will work well and are reasonably priced (especially with the 40% off coupon I mentioned).
I used the Cricut and first cut various sizes of Mickey heads from the vinyl between .5” and 1.25“. I then cut the letters in the kids’ names attending the party. I saved the circle shapes from inside the a’s, b’s, etc and few children used them as well. After washing the cups, the craft was ready.
The children needed some assistance in removing the paper from the back of the vinyl. After they designed their cup as they liked, the adults went back and rubbed well over the vinyl with firm edges (like a quarter).
Not only was this craft super easy, but super cute- don’t you think!?!
