If you’ve been on the blog before, you’ve probably heard about Parenting In Northern Kentucky’s #DisneySide @Home Celebration. We were kind of excited about it!! One of the ways we showed our #DisneySide was by making Mickey & Friends Pancakes.
I purchased this Disney Mickey Mouse & Friends 5 in 1 Tasty Baker years ago. I don’t even remember where from. I found one on Amazon, but if you ask me, $329 is a bit much. I did find a Mickey waffle iron, Mickey Waffle On A Stick Maker, Cars Lightening McQueen & Princess Cinderella pancake pans and Mickey egg molds/ cookie cutters. I have used the egg molds before to make pancakes. They didn’t work perfectly, but the kids were happy. The cheapest route I can think of for Mickey Mouse pancakes is to buy a ketchup/ squeeze bottle at the $1 store. Fill it with pancake mix. Then squirt one big circle for the head with 2 smaller ones at the top for ears. (Note: if using the egg molds or other cookie cutter, be sure to spray the inside with cooking spray so your food doesn’t stick to the inside.)
Happy Baking!
