What better way to get kids excited about reading & language than with something they already love, like Star Wars? Story cubes can be used in many different ways and bring fun to learning. We’ve suggested a few ways to use the cube below. What other ways can you think of to use this Star Wars story cube??
Start a story:
Roll the cube and use the question as a prompt to tell a story verbally, write a story, draw a picture of what’s to happen, etc.
Make it a group activity:
Roll the cube. Have everyone participating write their answers on a piece of paper. Mix all the pieces in a basket. Draw one at a time and read aloud. Can you guess whose is whose?
Create your own story cube:
Print off the story cube below, have your child create their own story prompts on the back and fold inside out. Stick with the Star Wars theme or go with a new one.
