Six months ago, my baby turned 18. I still don’t

Six months ago, my baby turned 18. I still don’t have words for it. I may never find them.
I used to tell him he’d always be my baby, even when he was older and had kids himself. As he now moves from one life journey to another, it’s still true. It forever will be.
He was my lifelong dream come true. All I ever wanted was to be a mom; and then his mom. Chronic illness has kept me from being the mom I want to be, but I pray he forever knows how very wanted, loved and cherished he is. The joy he has filled our lives with is incomparable.
I love you, Isaiah, always will.
